Our community came together at Westminster Center Park for our annual “Walk Strong Like Vaughn” walk-a-thon event, honoring Vaughn’s memory while supporting children and families affected by Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). Instead of simply walking a set distance, participants were encouraged to walk as many laps as they could or wanted to, with friends, family, and supporters sponsoring them by the lap or making a flat donation. Every lap represented another step toward raising awareness, supporting AML families, and keeping Vaughn’s legacy moving forward.

The day was filled with love, laughter, and plenty of orange 🧡 Participants enjoyed music, a kids corner of activities, a silent auction and raffle prizes, along with special awards for Most Laps Walked and Best Orange Outfit!

Most importantly, we were surrounded by people who showed up for Vaughn and for families who are still fighting AML. Whether someone walked one lap, 30 laps, or just sat and cheered the walkers on, every step and every donation helped make a difference. Together, we raised $1,227 for our foundation!
